Usually the following age limits applicable for admission into Playschool, Nursery, LKG and UKG
1.5- 2.5 years for Playschool
2.5- 3.5 years for Nursery
3.5- 4.5 years for LKG
4.5- 5.5 years for UKG
5.5 years – To Join in Class 1
Some schools in Delhi and other places, the LKG and UKG are combined into 1 year, and they admit to kindergarten at 4.5 yrs only ( by 1-April), the previous years are for Playschool and Nursery
